Biography
David is Investment & Relationship Management Lead for Western Canada.
In joining Grayhawk, David brings 20 years experience in capital markets, building client relationships and portfolio management experience. Most recently, David was Vice President, Portfolio Manager at a leading independent wealth management firm where he was responsible for all aspects of the client experience including onboarding, portfolio construction, risk management and ongoing care.
David began his career in 2002 at a major Canadian bank and spent 15 years in Institutional Equity Research, primarily at several independent sell-side firms where he assumed more senior level research analyst roles. In these positions, David fostered deep relationships with institutional clients while making investment recommendations in his area of expertise. David holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Victoria, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a member of the Calgary CFA Society.
David, his wife, two daughters and dog reside in Calgary. When he is not playing the role of chauffeur taking the kids to activities around the city, he enjoys being active playing tennis and golf.
