Diane Ritchie

Diane began her career with one of the largest banking institutions in Canada.  Her 20-year career included Senior roles in Operations, Inspection, Human Resources with her final role as Assistant Manager Mortgage Operations for Alberta and NWT.  Other opportunities included 3 years as Director of Admissions for a Private School in Calgary as well as Office Manager for an Executive Search Firm in Downtown Calgary.  Diane’s final 4 years have been working in the Alberta government in Calgary as Executive Assistant and Office Manager.

All throughout Diane has been a strong community volunteer. Diane spent 10 years volunteering with Inn from the Cold as well as numerous roles within her adult children’s school years.  Diane volunteered as a Parent Committee member in her children’s grade school years and in High School coordinated Sport Team Fundraising activities as well as Parent Coordinator for both her children’s High School Graduations for over 500 graduands each year.

Diane has spent 20+ years volunteering on both Federal and Provincial Constituency Boards in Executive roles.  She spent much of this time organizing community and fundraising events including numerous Annual Stampede Pancake Breakfasts.  Diane’s final breakfast was the 2022 Annual Premier’s Stampede Pancake Breakfast serving 3800+ guests in a 2-hour period.

Over the years Diane has received numerous awards within the banking industry, for volunteerism in politics and most recently the Queen Elizabeth 11 Platinum Jubilee Medal for contributions to the community and the province of Alberta.
