Senior Administrative Associate
My passion is to set others up for success. Working with the Relationship Leads and the families they serve, I have the opportunity to do this every day. It is an honour and a privilege to be working with the dedicated, passionate, and sophisticated professionals at Grayhawk. As someone who values client relationships and family above all else, there is no place I’d rather be.
Priya Sharma is the Senior Administrative Associate primarily working with Grayhawk’s Ontario-based Relationship Leads, Roxana Tavana and Julie Cowan. Priya supports the Relationship and Senior Leadership Teams by liaising with Grayhawk’s clients, providing administrative support, assisting with strategic initiatives, and actively implementing streamlined processes.
Priya has over 13 years’ administrative experience including 5 years at RBC, where she was encouraged to pursue a career in senior level support. Most recently, Priya was an Executive Assistant at a leading wealth management firm where she led the implementation of Salesforce practices for her region and created end-to-end processes to improve compliance and efficiency.
Priya holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto with a major in Cognitive Psychology. Her interest in how people behave and interact with one another is one of the reasons Priya excels in her support and client-facing roles.
When possible, Priya loves to travel. She has been all around the world and her love of animals has a South African safari as the next trip on her bucket list. In her downtime, Priya enjoys weekend trips to Niagara-on-the-Lake and checking out new and exciting areas to hike.
Priya is recently engaged and lives in Thornhill with her fiancé, Erik.
Senior Advisor, Family Office
With so many of my cherished moments in life centred around family and sharing memories together, I have come to realize the significant and positive impact having a strong family can have on one’s life. It brings me so much joy to see how I can help create that positive impact for a family. At the end of the day, it’s not about the achievements I make for myself, but what I am able to do for others that brings me such fulfilment.
Jennifer Tennant is the Senior Advisor, Family Office where she works to guide families and provide a more cohesive and holistic path forward. Jennifer recognizes the importance of ensuring that there is sufficient dialogue and planning between generations and can see the difference a well laid out plan can make for family relationships. Jennifer believes that so much of success lies in how succinct a family is in its direction and she gets great enjoyment helping families discover that direction.
Jennifer graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and went on to obtain her Chartered Accountant designation (CPA, CA). She began her career in the assurance practice at one of Canada’s top four accounting firms before moving into the private client group, focusing predominately on providing accounting and tax services to family-owned businesses. Jennifer worked together with a multidisciplinary team to come up with and execute complex solutions. She oversaw various projects ranging from tax planning and compliance for both personal and corporate matters to process improvement and implementation which helped add clarity and efficiencies for clients. Jennifer has worked with families across the country to develop and maintain prosperous and effective long-term plans for each unique situation. She found her passion in making the difference in the lives of families.
In her spare time Jennifer loves to hike and ski with her parents and twin sister in Whistler. She also has a keen passion for travel and believes that visiting new places helps add to the depth of understanding and appreciation of life. When she is not travelling, she loves to spend time cooking elaborate meals or desserts for all the special occasions in her family’s lives. Her family has been such an important part in her life and has continued to support her throughout all her endeavors. Much of what she has accomplished would not have been possible without their support, for which she is eternally grateful.

I am inspired daily by their passion for nurturing lasting relationships with our families by creating unique legacies with meaningful impact that will last for generations to come.
Kelly Francis is the Executive Assistant to our co-CEOs Michael Kaumeyer and Peter Mann. She is a trusted partner who supports our co-CEOs by increasing their business productivity and keeping them organized. Kelly is naturally gifted in helping others.
Kelly began her career with Royal Bank of Canada for 10 years progressing to Manager, Personal Banking where she helped many successful Canadian families with their financial needs. More recently, Kelly spent the last 9 years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts where she honed her executive assistant skills while supporting a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nipissing University with a major in English and a minor in Sociology. She is mom to an adult daughter. They are very close and together enjoy travelling to Europe, exploring the food scene in Toronto and abroad, attending live theatre productions and are season ticket holders to the Canadian Opera Company. Kelly is passionate about helping orphans in Africa and played a key role in the formation of the charity “Heart for Africa.”

Working with such a close-knit group that is focused on our overall strategy, nothing we do here is insignificant. No matter how small the task, it plays an integral part in the company.
Mike Pires is a Portfolio Administrator who works with Grayhawk’s Client Services team to support diverse family needs. Mike believes hard work paired with positivity creates happiness in life that transcends through his work.
Mike has gained experience through University of Calgary’s club activities including acting as VP Finance for the Human Resources Club. He also held a summer internship at BDC in security and disbursement.
Mike is a fourth year Finance Student at the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business and has held leadership roles in the Human Resources, Real Estate Club and Campus Tours. Mike has taken multiple courses on top of his formal education through Wall Street Prep and continues to build on his operational and technical knowledge.
Residing in Calgary, Mike lives an active lifestyle by exercising and hiking on sunny weekends. He is an active community member taking part in many events in the city and loves to travel to experience new cultures.

Aidan Peacock is a Client Services Associate who works on Grayhawk’s Operations team to deliver a unique support experience to our network of families. Aidan is especially passionate about educating and assisting our client’s younger generations to fully achieve their investment needs.
Aidan received his Bachelor of Commerce, Finance from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and is continuing his education in the field of finance as a CFA Candidate. He was very involved in several clubs while in university, including as President of the Sports Management Society and VP Finance of Finesse Wealth Management. Since joining Grayhawk, his interests have expanded from the broad field of finance and capital markets, to wealth management and the education of financial literacy.
Prior to joining Grayhawk, Aidan held internships in the energy sector and wealth management field where he developed his skills in financial analysis, communication, and networking. He also spent time in the customer service industry.
Aidan was born and raised in Calgary and enjoys all the entertainment and culture the city has to offer. He has a passion for baseball, and is involved in many levels, including as a player and coaching youth of all ages.

Having a deep understanding of our families’ financial aspirations not only guides our strategy but allows me to go above and beyond to find the best solution for each family.
Steven Lam is an Associate Portfolio Manager & Research Analyst who works at Grayhawk performing due diligence and monitoring fund managers to ensure operational functions follow a robust process. Steven believes that proactively anticipating the needs of our clients and being prompt in communication are fundamental to long-term partnerships. It is these shared values with Grayhawk that allow him to help families navigate the complexities involved with wealth management and to build valuable ongoing relationships.
Steven has gained invaluable experience working at UBS Asset Management where he was responsible for the accounting and monthly reporting of performance metrics of investment portfolios for fund managers and family offices. It was during his time there that Steven learned the importance of aligning families’ values and interests with the work he was performing.
Steven received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter-holder and also holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM). Steven is a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
Steven lives in Toronto and upholds an active lifestyle involving participation in recreational sports. He also is continually discovering new methods of improving performance with weight training activities.
CPA, CFA Senior Financial Analyst
Ling is a Senior Financial Analyst who is a major contributor in Grayhawk’s finance team to support accounting functions and operational processes.
Prior to joining Grayhawk, Ling has gained invaluable experience working at a boutique investment advisory firm in Toronto where she was responsible for establishing and maintaining all accounting procedures and internal financial controls, as well as producing financial reports and assisting with annual audit preparations.
Ling is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter-holder. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration with high distinction from University of Toronto.
Ling lives in Oakville with her husband, her 2-year-old son, and their family pets, a dog, and a cat.

Cecilia Wang is Grayhawk’s Corporate Controller, responsible for the day-to-day functions and operational processes in the finance department.
Cecilia brings 18 years of experience in the financial services and alternative investment industry to the Grayhawk team. After 7 years of offshore experience in the Cayman Islands, Cecilia assumed increasingly senior roles in financial operations and performance analysis with large financial institutions in Canada. Cecilia is focused on improving operational efficiency, transforming legacy systems and technology and providing financial information that is accurate, transparent, and timely.
Cecilia is passionate about new technologies, new ideas and new ways of thinking. She finds it rewarding to apply the right technology or leverage new or existing tools, to simplify or redesign processes to improve efficiency. Cecilia believes that sharing relevant financial data and analytics is important in interdepartmental collaboration. It often provides useful insight for better business decisions.
Cecilia holds a CPA, CA designation and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. She has an Honors of Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Cecilia lives in Markham with her husband and two daughters.

Working alongside a brilliant team that I genuinely enjoy spending time with, I also have the pleasure of partnering with extraordinary families to assist them in successfully leaving behind great legacies.
Mandy Basa is an Operations Lead who delivers quality legacy management through the execution of creating and innovating robust processes. Mandy believes in supporting deep relationships through continuous improvement to partner with successful Canadian families and family offices.
Mandy began her career at ScotiaMcleod where she spent 12 years supporting successful Canadian families, managing all portfolio management administrative functions. Mandy then joined a small business, tackling its organizational needs, where she spent two years creating and developing the structure of the business to allow it grow.
Prior to joining Grayhawk, Mandy worked with ATB Investment Management on the Operations team focusing on portfolio accounting functions and maintaining a robust process. During her three years at ATB she made a difference by leading many initiatives to improve and align business processes.
Mandy graduated from the University of Calgary with a Degree in Economics. She continues on her path of learning, recently taking project management courses, and is an avid reader of books on business and leadership. Outside of the office, you might find Mandy with her family on the Calgary paths running with her dog, hiking in the mountains, or watching a movie. Come holiday time, Mandy loves to spread the Christmas cheer by adopting a family each year to help provide a true holiday experience for a family in need.
Relationship Lead, Western Canada

Claire is responsible for leading Grayhawk’s growth in the Western Canada region of British Columbia and Alberta by continuing to build relationships with families and enhancing Grayhawk’s value proposition.
Claire has over twenty years of experience in relationship management and business development in non-profit and corporate sectors. Before joining the Grayhawk team, she was Vice President, Canada, for TIGER 21, a USA-based, boutique, peer learning organisation for high-net-worth entrepreneurs and investors. In this capacity, she led TIGER 21’s growth in Canada, achieving a fourfold increase in membership in five years.
In previous roles, Claire has led significant growth and change through capital development in the non-profit health and education sectors in the UK and in Canada.
With an honours degree in English and Psychology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, Claire started her working life as an English teacher before answering a call to value-based organisational leadership and development.
Claire is born and raised in Zimbabwe and cherishes her African roots. Equally, she is proud to be Canadian having immigrated to British Columbia with her family in 2004. Her other full-time job has been raising four sons, now all young adults, three at Universities in BC and one flying high for the BC Park and Pipe Team on his ‘gap’ year.
Claire is delighted to have the opportunity to lead the expansion of Grayhawk in Western Canada.
