Drawing upon her experience working with top global investors and her genuine interest in people, Julie listens keenly to families, endowments and foundations to understand their values, goals and challenges. Julie and team then provide customized solutions that support clients in identifying and achieving their outcomes now and for generations to come. Julie is especially passionate about helping women to reach their dreams in all areas of their lives, seeing wealth as part of the whole and as inter-connected to overall well-being.
Julie has over 20 years of capital markets experience across Canada, the UK and Europe. She was most recently a Managing Director at Scotiabank where she led Canadian Relationship Management for Global Capital Markets. Always client-focused, her prior experience includes 11 years at Morgan Stanley in equity derivative sales.
Julie sits on the Board of Halton Women’s Place, dedicated to helping women and children live violence-free lives. She was the Co-Chair of the first-ever True Patriot Love Women’s Expedition to Baffin Island snowshoeing 100 km and raising over $1 million dollars for Canadian veterans and their families. Julie has also held leadership roles with 100 Women in Finance and Women in Capital Markets.
Julie holds an MBA from London Business School (UK), an Honours Co-Op BA Economics from the University of Waterloo and the CFA designation.
Believing that “it takes a village” Julie lives in Milton, Ontario with her teenage daughter and close to her parents, sister and family. Family dinners and travelling far and wide to spend time with great friends are a top priority.
